Singletracks Puts Mini Frame Bags to the Test: Find Out How the Fernhill LTL Bag Performed!

Travis Reill puts five mini frame bags to the test, including the small LTL Frame Bag. How did it do?

It turns out, pretty good! The small bag fits the Canyon Spectral quite well. In the article, Travis discusses his struggles in finding a frame bag small enough to fit full-suspension designs - which was a design goal we had in creating the LTL frame bag.

“The LTL fits on my Canyon Spectral with its horizontal shock configuration, almost as if Fernhill designed the bag for that bike. It opens on one side and can be flipped around and configured in almost any way. It easily holds my tire repair kit (CO2, plugs, tire levers, inflater), a multi-tool, a granola bar, and keys. The bag is made of durable material that withstands the elements well, and includes four velcro straps that can be mounted anywhere along the bag, allowing the LTL to fit nearly any frame.”

The only thing missing from his review: our straps will work with eMTBs if you take two of the long straps and strap them together! We've found that three straps are plenty to secure the LTL bag. Though it's not visually appealing, zip ties work quite well, too.
